Iphigenia, daughter of Clytemnestra and Agamemnon, lately of Mycenae, the most powerful city-state in Bronze-Age Greece, known then as the land of the Achaeans. Raised as a princess, and betrayed by her father in a fake arranged marriage plot--a trap set to lure her to her death.

She was sent to Aulis as a sacrifice, but died a willing martyr, braver than all the men demanding her death.
